CE is not enough!
Manufacturers are responsible for ensuring that their products meet the MINIMUM requirements specified in the relevant directive or regulation. CE Marking is just one measure that the European Union has adopted to establish a single market within their member states.
CERTIFIRE is a voluntary third party certification scheme that allows manufacturers to differentiate their products from the MINIMUM performance requirements of a CE Mark. The benefits of a third party certification are identified and promoted in several regulatory documents including Approved Document B (UK Building Regulations) and the Regulatory Reform Order. CERTIFIRE products guarantee a clear level of fitness for purpose, way beyond the MINIMUM requirements of a CE Mark
